On the sunny side
The lake and its surroundings offer a particularly beautiful natural spectacle in various light moods that open the heart at any time of the year.
The balcony faces south, so you can turn your face to the sun from morning to night and yet the flats remain pleasantly cool despite the hottest temperatures in summer. In winter you can dance barefoot over the underfloor heating.
Heavenly tranquillity on the lake with the picture-book beauty of nature all around, but there is also a wide range of leisure activities available to you in the surrounding area.
There is a lot to experience, whether cycling, hiking, swimming, boating, sailing, fishing, skiing...

Exclusive Lounge:
A unique boat bar exclusively for our house guests is located on the ground floor for meeting in a feel-good atmosphere with access to our 180 sqm sun lake terrace with deck chairs, seating and barbecue. Log on to our sound-bosebox and enjoy the view over the lake while listening to music of your choice. Sit directly on the water on the spacious sun terrace. Drinks can be taken from a gastro fridge at cost price. Delicious coffee specialities from our Bonamat fully automatic machine are available around the clock.

What you will experience at the Diemelsee
A bathing bay is right in front of the house. Jump into the crystal-clear water before breakfast, by moonlight or whenever you like!
Active at the lake:
Biking: The cycling experience at the natural jewel Diemelsee offers a network of about 150km for mountain biking in the mountains, pleasure cycling and leisurely round trips around the lake (14km).
Fishing: Lake Diemelsee is very popular among anglers. With its excellent water quality and diversity, Lake Diemel attracts countless water sports enthusiasts and fishing fans every year. Jerking or spin fishing from the shore in spring/summer and vertical fishing and trolling from a boat in autumn are promising fishing methods in the two arms of Lake Diemel.
Electric motor boats: Directly in front of the house there is a rental for electric boats and the possibility to take a boat tour with an excursion boat (" MS Muffert"). A shuttle to the opposite shore is also possible. More here: https://seerundfahrten-diemelsee.de/de/
Skiing and cross-country skiing: Here at Lake Diemelsee you can enjoy the quiet winter feeling with excellent views over the misty and snow-covered lake, but at the same time it only takes 10 minutes to get to Willingen, where there are numerous ski lifts, cross-country trails, as well as an ice rink and much more. Diving: For diving enthusiasts there is a diving bay visible from our house ready for adventure. In nearby Messinghausen there is also a fantastic diving opportunity in a mountain lake. More here: https://www.see-im-berg.de
Hiking: When hiking at the Diemelsee, you will explore the Sauerland from its most varied side and experience this unique nature up close. In our hikers' paradise there are easy circular trails through all the villages in the Diemelsee holiday region, more challenging high-altitude hikes as well as long-distance hikes on the moderately difficult Diemelsteig trail. With a close-meshed network of beautiful and well-signposted circular hiking trails, you will find an unspoilt natural landscape with idyllic villages that invite you to discover and linger. Both holiday flats include a well-stocked hiking rucksack with picnic blanket and hammock.
Parking: You can unload your luggage right outside the door and then park your car for free in the large car park 20m above your holiday home. If you bring your own bikes, they can be safely stored in a locked room.
